Cardinal Update

  • SENIORS: Winter break is a great time to fill out the FAFSA. This is a graduation requirement, so email a screenshot once complete to [email protected].
  • POWERLIFTING STORE: If you’re looking for some Melissa Powerlifting apparel, their online store is now open through Saturday, Jan. 7.
  • MEF Scholarship: Seniors, the Melissa Education Foundation Scholarship Application is now open. Click here for more information and to apply.
  • SENIOR ADs for the 2023 yearbook are now on sale! Parents/guardians will build and purchase the ADs through Herff Jones’ site: YearbookOrderCenter.com. Space is limited, so don’t delay–buy your ad today!
  • The 52nd Annual Collin County Poetry Contest is now accepting entries. Students are invited to enter. The contest is sponsored by McKinney’s Mockingbird Chapter of the Poetry Society of Texas. Winners are chosen from each grade level and recognized at an award ceremony in the spring. All entries must be postmarked by Feb. 1. Entry rules and other details can be found on mockingbirdpoetry.org.
