Cardinal Update

  • Academic Expo: MHS will host the annual Academic Expo on Wednesday, Feb. 1. There will be a meeting at 5:30 p.m. in the auditorium for 8th grade students and their parents. Then, the Academic Expo will start at 6 p.m. in the Student Union and auxiliary gym. Students and parents will have the opportunity to meet teachers and learn about all the programs of study. This will assist students in completing their Course Request Cards, which are due Feb. 3.
  • Students who took the PSAT last October need to pick up their test booklets in A405 if they haven’t already! Ms. Stover will be throwing them out on Feb. 1. The booklet is a valuable study tool.
  • 2024 HOSA Travel Trip: If interested in traveling on the 2024 Health Sciences trip to Germany and France, please come to the parent meeting Tuesday, Jan. 31 at 7 p.m. in the Championship Center.  Please RSVP for meeting here: https://bit.ly/3VPqsMw.
  • News & Yearbook Interest Survey: Join the new or yearbook staff next year as a reporter, designer or photographer! If interested, complete this survey or contact the adviser [email protected].
  • ATTN: SENIORS – Have you ordered your cap and gown yet? If so, this needs to be done ASAP through gradtexas.com.

  • SCHOLARSHIPS: Seniors, visit the MHS scholarships page frequently to earn money for college and even vocational training. Lockheed Martin is awarding 150 $5,000 vocational scholarships!
