Melissa Theatre performs “A Monster Calls” for their UIL One Act Play entry this year. The troupe was the second place advancing play at the district contest and the first place advancing play at bi-district. They will perform in the area round on March 29 at Tyler Junior College.

Cardinal Update

Congratulations to the One Act Play cast and crew who won the Bi-District Championship on March 22 with their rendition of “A Monster Calls.” They will advance to Area at Tyler Junior College on March 29.
Congratulations to junior Lorelai Thompson for placing 3rd in her weight class at the Texas High School Women’s Powerlifting Association’s (THSWPA) State Meet on March 18.
Seniors – Cap & Gown Pickup: If you ordered a cap and gown through Herff Jones, those will be available for pickup on Tuesday, March 28, during MegaLunch in the foyer of the MAC.
Baseball Opening Day: The high school campus will be celebrating professional baseball’s Opening Day on March 30, so staff and students are encouraged to wear a jersey to school.
Cheer Fundraiser: Please consider supporting the MHS cheer program this spring by purchasing some yummy popcorn! This fundraiser ends on March 31. The cheer program will receive half of all sales.
