- Congratulations to seniors Ashton Mitchell-Johnson and Mattie McGrady who were crowned the 2021 Homecoming King & Queen last Friday, Oct. 22.

- ATTN: SENIORS – If you have not taken senior portraits yet with Prestige Studios, the photographers will be on campus Tuesday, Nov. 2. You need to sign up for a time slot.
- All students should have received an email by now with instructions on how to set up their HAC (Home Access Center) to check their grades.
- Tickets for Melissa Theatre’s fall musical called “Nice Work If You Can Get It” are now on sale. There will be four performances Nov. 13-16. Click here for more info.
- Interact Club is collecting gently used or new coats and jackets for families in Melissa, Anna, and surrounding Collin County communities. A drop-off box is located outside Mrs. Pinckney’s classroom, A316. The deadline has been extended to Nov. 3. Classes will earn points for the Cardinal Spirit Challenge by donating.
- MHS is hosting the ASVAB (Armed Services Vocational Aptitude Battery) on Nov. 9 for students in the 10th – 12th grades. This is a perfect time to take the test if you are thinking about enlisting in any service within the military. If you want to take the test, please complete this Google form. The deadline to register is Wednesday, Nov. 3. See Ms. Vega in A310 if you have questions.
