“Belfast”

A powerful narrative, depicting the life of a nine-year-old boy and his working-class family, living through the hardships of 1960s Belfast, Ireland.

“CODA”

CODA, an acronym for ‘child of deaf adults’ portrays the life of Ruby, the only hearing member of her deaf family, who joins her high school’s choir club and gains a newfound interest in singing. She later finds herself split between staying with her family and their fishing business, or pursuing her passion for singing.

“Don’t Look Up”

Two astronomers from Michigan State University discovered a massive comet that is projected towards the earth, leading to mass destruction, and essentially, the end of the world. The two proceed to go on a press tour to try and warn mankind of this nearing catastrophic event.

“Drive My Car”

After his wife’s untimely death, a distinguished actor and director, Yusuke Kafuku, is asked to direct a production of Uncle Vanya at a theater festival in Hiroshima, Japan. There, he begins to face the haunting mysteries his wife left behind and discovers unsettling connections between a dashing television star.

“Dune”

Adapted from the novel published in 1965 by Frank Herbert, “Dune” depicts the hero’s journey of Paul Atreides, a brilliant and gifted young man who must travel to a dangerous planet filled with the most valuable substance in the galaxy. Naturally, conflict arises and Paul must overcome only himself to ensure the future prosperity of his planet.

“King Richard”

“King Richard” is an inspirational biographical film that follows the lives of Venus and Serena Williams as they grew up coached by their father, Richard Williams. We learn the uprisings of two of the world’s greatest athletes through the girls’ unwavering persistence, hard work, and unconditional support from family.

“Licorice Pizza”

The story of Alana Klane and Gary Valentine growing up and falling in love together, while navigating life in San Fernando Valley during 1970s California.

“Nightmare Alley”

A hapless Stanton Carlisle meets husband and wife, Zeena and Pete, at a traveling carnival. Using this knowledge, Carlisle discovers a doorway to fortune by swindling the elitists of 1940’s New York City.

“The Power of the Dog”

Phil Burbank is a deceptively charming rancher who wages fear and wonderment to those around him. When his brother suddenly brings home a new wife along with her son, Phil mocks and torments them until he finds himself open to the possibility of love.

“West Side Story”

In this adaption of the 1957 musical, Tony becomes infatuated with Maria at a high school dance in New York City, adding momentum to a historic rivalry between two differing street gangs, the Jets and the Sharks.
