September 13, 2022
Student Council (STUCO) has once again partnered with the American Red Cross and will host its annual fall blood drive on Oct. 5 in the high school gymnasium from 8:35 a.m. to 2:35 p.m.
Students interested in donating blood must meet eligibility requirements. They must be at least 17 years of age or 16 with parental consent. Visit the Red Cross website to view the Information for Young Blood Donors.
Anyone wanting to donate blood on Oct. 5 can click here to sign up for a time. Just search by zip code 75454.
Seniors wanting to wear a “Blood Cord” at graduation must give blood at least three times during high school, or have someone donate three times in their name. For more information, contact the STUCO sponsor Amy Tyner or a STUCO member.
The spring blood drive date has been set for April 12, 2023.
