Activision and Infinity Ward will be officially releasing Modern Warfare II (MW2) on Oct. 28, and here is some information players might want to hear about.

So, with MW2 comes Warzone 2. Players know that when the first Modern Warfare (2019) released, Warzone was a free, battle royale version of Modern Warfare. Therefore, fans can assume that Warzone 2 will be the same for MW2. Unfortunately, guns and skins from the first Warzone will not carry over to Warzone 2, so any mastery camos or limited unlocks will be left in the first Warzone. Of course, this is terrible news for those who have grinded for years just to get skins on Warzone.

According to Activision and Infinity Ward, if players pre-order the game, they will be allowed access to the MW2 Beta a week before the official release. With the Beta version comes exclusive skins for guns, operators, etc. so if that is something of interest, players might want to hurry and pre-order. Although there are two versions that can be purchased straight up–either the regular version for $60 or the vault edition for $90.

Due to leaks and official sneak peaks, there will be a bunch of iconic weapons from previous games. A big and more popular weapon that will be coming back is the Locus from Black Ops 3 and more. They also have gameplay trailers, campaign trailers, etc.
