Cardinal Update

  • Mega Lunch begins on the high school campus on Monday, Oct. 3, following the Mega Lunch schedule (second column) on the 2022-23 Bell Schedule. Students were emailed the ML Master Schedule and will be sent a list of club descriptions soon. Students must attend a study hall, tutorial session, UIL practice or club meeting during one half of the hour-long lunch period each day.
  • Tickets for the Homecoming Dance go on sale Monday, Oct. 3. The price is $30, cash or check only. Tickets may be purchased during Mega Lunch as well as before and after school in room #A124. The dance will be held Oct. 29 from 8-11 p.m. in the Student Union and auxiliary gym.
  • Homecoming shirts are on sale through Wednesday, Oct. 5. Click here to view the online store and place your order.
  • Homecoming Festivities: Visit the district web page for all the info related to Homecoming 2022: www.melissaisd.org/homecoming.
  • STUCO will host its annual fall blood drive on October 5th. Registration is now open. Click here to register.
  • SENIOR ADS: Sales for Senior ADs for the yearbook open on Oct. 1 and will remain open until March 1, 2023. Parents/guardians will build and purchase the ADs through Herff Jones’ site: YearbookOrderCenter.com.
  • SENIORS: The FAFSA opens Oct. 1. You must complete the FAFSA form each year to receive any federal financial aid for college.

  • Senior Scholarships: The Coca-Cola Scholarship is open through Oct. 31. Take a look to see if you qualify and apply today!
