“Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse” is coming to theaters in June of 2023. This will be featuring Miles Morales, the new spider-man, going through verses with Gwen Stacy. This movie will show the progression of Miles and his obstacles through being the new profound spider-man. Though he is young, he will persevere to prove himself. 

Though this animated movie is not out yet, there’s been much anticipation around it online, such as a YouTuber named “LegoMe_TheOG” has created a LEGO version of the trailer called Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse but in LEGO | Official Trailer (4K).

In the prequel “Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse,” the main character Miles Morales becomes the new Spider-Man of his verse. Though he is only a teenager, he believes he can take on the responsibility of protecting the city where he and his family live. He soon finds out that being the new Spider-Man comes with many obstacles and how he must team up with the other spider heroes in order to defeat the enemy.

In the movie trailer, Miles is seen laying down in his room “grounded.” He is approached by Gwen Stacy, who encourages him to go venture with her. Miles was slightly hesitant but gave in after a while. Viewers then see how he and Gwen travel through the verses and into an undiscovered place. He is then met with confusion and excitement about this new realm.

The “buzz” around the movie has reached many Marvel fans, who are waiting for this movie to release. With the latest movie being released in 2022, the wait keeps fans on their toes.

“The new Spider-man is the only Marvel movie I’m excited for,” English teacher Jeffrey Fox said. “Well, that and ‘Deadpool 3.’ Hopefully, they’ll stop delaying the release of ‘Across the Spider-Verse,’ so I can be excited about seeing something Marvel again.”

With the release of this movie being dragged out, it’s gotten more than just the attention of fans. It’s also reached Nike. There has been much speculation around the releasing of another Miles Morales shoe from Nike’s Air Jordan 1’s collection. The shoe shows a black and red colorway with a white spider web on the side.
