Football action returned when the JV team faced off against Caddo Mills JV. The JV team was riding a 5 game winning streak until stepping on the gridiron with the Foxes. The team was upstaged by the Foxes by the score of 28-21, even though JV was leading early in the game.

The first half was led by 2 touchdown catches by Antjuan Turner from Ian Keever. Later in the game, receiver Tyler Burton scored on a deep pass from Ian Keever, and Keever ended up with 3 touchdown passes and over 250 yards total.

The score at the half was 18-6 with the JV in the lead. In the second half, JV faced some struggles with a fumble and a key interception from Caddo Mills.

The last drive of the game the Cardinals attempts to get the ball into the end zone but failed. The anti-climatic sack led the team to walk away from the field with a disappointing loss.

Many Cardinals were in tears and the locker room was very quiet as if they were in a disappointed mood.

Next week the Cardinals are traveling to Celina to face the Bobcats at 6:30 in Celina, TX.
