Cardinal Update
- There will be no school on Monday, Oct. 9 in honor of Fair Day.

- Senior Directs: Melissa Theatre will present Senior Directs, short 10-minute plays directed by seniors, on Thursday, Oct. 12, at 7 p.m. in the Melissa Arts Center. Admission is FREE!
- Mega Lunch Clubs: A list of approved clubs and organizations was shared with students through email to assist in scheduling Mega Lunch sessions. Students are required to attend advisory the first day of each week and then one 30-minute session all other days–either an academic session (tutorials or study hall) or a club or organizational meeting.
- Homecoming 2023: Details of this year’s Homecoming Week, including dress-up day themes, tailgating, parade and pep rally, have been published on the district website. Visit www.melissaisd.org/homecoming for all the info.
- Tickets to the Homecoming Dance will go on sale Monday, Oct. 16 in the Student Union during Mega Lunch. Tickets will be $30 each (cash or check only).
