Cardinal Update
- Congratulations to senior Logan Tauch for finishing in 4th place at the 5A State Cross Country Meet in Round Rock on Nov. 3.
- Congratulations to Lady Cardinal Volleyball for winning the area title on Nov. 3. They will play McKinney North in the regional quarterfinal round on Nov. 7 at 6:30 p.m. at Wylie East HS.
- REPORT CARDS for the first nine weeks have been processed and uploaded to Home Access Center (HAC). Parents/Guardians and students may now access them and download to a PDF and print if they so choose.
- FOOD DRIVE: Melissa ISD will hold its annual food drive, the Red Bag Campaign, from Nov. 6-15. Donations will go to the First Melissa Christmas Angel Program and the Melissa Community Outreach Food Pantry. Students should donate non-perishable items such as canned vegetables, fruit, soup, and tuna, along with dry cereal, rice, and boxed mac ‘n cheese. The Interact Club is coordinating the food drive on the high school campus. Students should bring their items to their 4th period teacher. The first-place winning class will receive a Chic-fil-A catered lunch.
- K-12 PARENTS: Melissa Schools will host a meeting on Nov. 6 at 6 p.m. at Home Office to educate parents on the implementation of the International Baccalaureate (IB) program. Click here for more information.
