Congratulations to Brenden Dimmig, speech and debate coach, for being named the 2024 LBJ District Coach of the Year by the National Speech and Debate Association. This award celebrates Dimmig for his strong dedication, passion, and commitment to his students and the wider debate community, earning him recognition from his peers.
Kyle Brenner, technical theatre teacher and UIL Coordinator, who works closely with Mr. Dimmig, praised his achievement.
“His tireless efforts in the classroom and beyond have truly made a difference in the lives of his students and the school community as a whole,” Brenner said. “Being honored as the ‘Coach of the Year’ is a testament to his hard work and excellence in coaching.
