The school’s move will take place during the district’s summer break – moving dates are still to be determined.

“I am excited to get to be apart of the first graduating class from the new high school,” Junior, Kaimberlyn Watts, said. “I hope to see all the new programs, classes, and clubs we will offer, now that we have a larger campus.”
Melissa Ridge Intermediate School will transition into two elementary schools. Harry McKillop Elementary, will have a grade configuration of Pre-K – 5. North Creek Elementary, will also have a grade configuration of Pre-K – 5. The Melissa Ridge building will house The Academy after school program for both elementary schools.

“The school move is a much-needed thing. The current high school is overpopulated, we are all ready to get to be on the brand new campus,” Sophomore, Karson Love, said.
The current middle school facility will undergo minor renovations. Melissa Middle School will move into what is currently the Melissa High School building. Melissa High School will move into the new high school facility at 3030 Milrany Lane.
