Three varsity tennis players are headed to regionals after competing at the district meet in Lovejoy on April 24-25.
Senior Cade Gentry and soph. Eddie Zeng placed first in boys doubles, earning the title of District Champion and advancing to regionals. Senior Rylee Reddick also qualified for regionals with a second place finish in girls singles. Soph. Ayan Bhardwaj placed third in boys singles, making him the alternate for the regional meet.
The 5A Region 2 Tournament will be played at the Melissa Z-Plex on May 9-10.
