The Melissa Theatre UIL One Act Play (OAP) company competed at the 5A Region 2 Contest on April 27, winning second place and qualifying them for State. This year’s production of “This Girl Laughs, This Girl Cries, This Girl Does Nothing” by Finegan Kruckemeyer is now one of the top eight 5A plays in the state of Texas. They will perform on May 17 at the UIL State OAP competition in Austin.
For anyone who hasn’t seen the show yet, there will be a free public performance on May 10 in the Melissa Arts Center (MAC).
