The fine arts department has started what they hope to be a new tradition at MHS, a visual arts magazine called “Cardinal Chronicles.” The goal of the magazine is to showcase the creative writing and artwork of the diverse, talented student body.
Led by visual arts teacher Ashley Fortune, the inspiration for this magazine stemmed from a desire to exhibit the outstanding writing produced by students throughout the year. The “Cardinal Chronicles” aims to share these remarkable pieces with the community, ensuring they can be appreciated for years to come.
On May 14, students whose work was featured in the magazine were given the opportunity to participate in a magazine signing day. This event was a celebration of their achievements and a chance to honor their contributions.
