On Oct. 5, the band competed against many other schools in the McKinney Marching Festival and made the finals. After performing the second time, the band placed 13th overall. Individually, the woodwinds placed third, while the brass placed 10th.
With football season wrapping up, the band is now starting their concert season, getting ready with Christmas music for the holidays, and practicing UIL all-region music to be selected for All-Region Band.
