Both the boys and girls wrestling teams dominated the mats at the 5A UIL State Meet held Feb. 14-15. The boys team finished in 4th place overall. Out of the seven wrestlers that qualified for state, four of them placed in their weight classes. The team ended with one State Champion, one State Champion Runner Up and two other wrestlers who placed in their respective weight class.

Senior Jadyn Johnson claimed his second State Championship title with his fourth appearance at state.

The Lady Cardinals had eight wrestlers qualify to compete in the 5A UIL State Meet. The girls team ended in a notable seventh place as a team and with one State Champion and one wrestler who took third in her respective weight class.
