The Mighty Cardinal Band’s show theme for the 2024-25 school year was titled “POP UP!” This theme was thoroughly expressed throughout the show’s many props along with the musical elements brought into the show. The music included Billie Eillish’s “When the Party’s Over,” Trombone Shorty’s “Big 12,”  “Alfonso Muskedunder” by Todd Terje, and “The Four Sections IV ” by Steve Reich.

Throughout their competition season, the band earned all one’s at UIL regionals, advancing them to the area level. Unfortunately, with one of the most competitive marching areas in Texas, the band did not advance to the state contest.

He is a freshman. He is also taking all advanced classes this year as well as next. This is his first year working on the yearbook and he hopes to continue next year. He is taking computer science currently. He was in SkillsUSA and competed on the state level in middle school. He likes Crumbl, Cane’s, and Chick-Fil-A. He is going to take a trip to Hawaii this summer as well as a trip to LA. He likes beabadoobee and Laufey.
