- AI/SMART GLASSES & REQUIRED TESTING: As Smart/AI Glasses become more popular with students, we want to ensure that students and parents understand the appropriate use of these devices during upcoming state testing. Please keep the following guidelines in mind:
-
Devices with internet access or camera/video capabilities are not permitted during testing, as per Texas Education Agency guidelines.
-
Students may wear Smart/AI Glasses for vision reasons as long as they do not access image or video capture functions.
-
If the glasses are not needed for vision, we recommend leaving them at home on testing days.
-
Capturing images or videos of test screens is strictly prohibited and can be traced back to individual students.
-
Disciplinary action may be taken if a student is found violating these guidelines, which could include the test being voided, resulting in a missed opportunity to pass the required assessment.
-
Please contact our campus if you have questions or concerns. Thank you for your cooperation and understanding.
