The 2025 National Football League (NFL) Draft took place last week, April 24-26, in Green Bay, Wisconsin, at Lambeau Field and Title-town District. One of the big topics of discussion was where the final four contenders for the 2025 Heisman Trophy were going.
The following are the four Heisman contestants and where they went:
Cam Ward went first round, first pick going to the Tennessee Titans.
Shedeur Sanders went round 5, pick 144 going to the Cleveland Browns.
Travis Hunter (winner of the 2025 Heisman) went round 1, pick 2 going to the Jacksonville Jaguars.
Ashton Jeanty also went round 1, pick 6 to the Las Vegas Raiders.
America’s Team, the Dallas Cowboys, had some good draft picks. The following is a summary:
Round 1, pick 12 – Dallas got Tyler Booker, a guard from Alabama.
Round 2, pick 44 – Dallas got Donovan Ezeiruaku, an edge rusher from Boston College.
Round 3, pick 76 – Dallas got Shavon Revel, Jr., a cornerback from East Carolina.
Round 4 – Dallas did not get anyone.
Round 5, pick 149 – Dallas got Jaydon Blue, a running back from Texas/UT/Longhorns.
Round 6, pick 204 – Dallas got Ajani Cornelius.
Round 7, picks 217 and 239 – Dallas got Jay Toia, Tommy Akingbesote and Phil Mafah.
