Counselor’s Corner
Student Credit Checks, Junior/Senior Survey & SchooLinks
Beginning Monday, September 22, the MHS Academic Counselors will begin their Fall 2025 credit check meetings with all students. Students will receive the Beginning of the Year (BOY) Credit Check Presentation during their English classes, which may also be found on the Guidance and Counseling webpage. During one-on-one credit check meetings, counselors sit down with students to review their transcripts, check graduation progress, and make sure they are on track to meet all requirements. These meetings also cover course planning for future semesters, options like dual credit or CTE pathways, and next steps for college, career, or military goals. Please refer to the Sept. 15 email you received for more information.
Additionally, we are very excited to introduce our district’s college and career readiness platform, SchooLinks! All of the SchooLinks features are designed with students in mind to help them become career, college, and life ready. As a parent/guardian, you will have the opportunity to join your student in their career and college exploration process and have conversations with them about their future. You will have access to SchooLinks through your own account.
