Homecoming is an event during which family and friends come together for one week to celebrate the community. One important part of homecoming week is the football game, which happens on a Friday night.
“It’s a very fun time to spend with your friends, watch the game, and get some snacks,” sophomore Hunter Sparks said. “I think it’s the most fun time of year because you can just have fun after school, and don’t have to worry about grades and that nonsense.”
With spirit week and with the big game over, excitement is present throughout the school.
“I think it was really, really fun,” Freshman Anaye Kitu said. “You got to see all your friends, you got to see teams playing each other, the atmosphere and stuff like that.”
