After dusting away more than half of the cast in their last movie, Avengers: Endgame came out in theaters around the world on April 26 with early premiers the day prior.  The movie is estimated to gross about 2 billion dollars worldwide which is about the same amount Avengers Infinity war, the last Avenger movie that came out, collected in sales.

All Marvel movies that have come out have been leading up to this movie ever since the first Ironman in 2008. All the Marvel Movies have been put into three different phases that go in chronological order. The first phase consists of movies that came out in 2008 through 2012. Phase two consist of movies that came out in 2013 through 2015 and so far phase three consist of movies that came out in 2016 through 2019. Avengers Endgame has included in the phase three movies. Some people have been waiting to see this movie since they were little when they only read the comics.

“My stepdad got me into Marvel and all that type of science fiction stuff. He was a real fan of things like Marvel and Star Wars when he was young and he would let me read the Marvel comics when I was growing up. Seeing the movies now after reading the comics and seeing it all come together is a really amazing experience” sophomore Adyson Porterfield said.

Avengers Endgame is predicted to be the highest profit earning for a movie in 2019.

“I think that it is one of the biggest movies this year because Marvel started off with these movies slowly and let the people get attached to the characters.”Junior Jillian Gardner said. “Then in Infinity War, they killed off so many of the loved characters and now those people that are attached to the characters want to see what will happen to their favorite characters in the new movie.”

Avengers Endgame is planned to be the last Avengers movie. This means that it could be the last movie that some of the characters will be seen on screen.

“I think so many more people are talking about Marvel now because Endgame is supposed to be the last of the Avengers movies. “ Sophomore Mya De Leon said. “Since so many people have been fans since the first Ironman movie they are going to want to see how Marvel will end the series.”
