The Cardinal Spirit Challenge is in full swing now as the second nine weeks of school begins. Students were given several opportunities to earn spirit points during Red Ribbon Week, Oct. 29-Nov. 1. After claiming victory in a tug-o-war challenge during B lunch on Friday, the seniors caught up with the juniors and are now tied for first place with 50 points each. The sophomores are not far behind with 45 points after showing their school spirit during dress-up days and earning a second place finish in the tug-o-war tournament. The freshmen picked up a few points this week by dressing up; however, they did not prevail in tug-o-war. They are currently in last place with 40 points total.

Just for fun, in honor of Senior Night at Cardinal Stadium, the senior football players went up against their coaches, as well, but they lost.
