The Lady Cardinals’ volleyball team had a good year becoming bi-district champs. They defeated Wilmer Hutchins in three sets by 25-17, 25-16, and 25-11. Unfortunately, they fell in the area round to Kennedale in the fifth set by only two points.

Several Lady Cardinals won district awards, which were announced in November. Senior Caroline Kasson was named MVP for the third year in a row. Kasson has signed to play collegiate volleyball at Jacksonville State starting in the fall.

Chelsea George and Ella Branson were named to the All-District First Team.

KG Matthews and Brooklee Waltrip both received All-District Second Team awards.

Four Lady Cardinals also earned All-District Honorable Mention: Alexis McCombs, Abbey Maldonado, Mallorie Power, and Saniyah Anthony.
