Final exams cause fear, anxiety

Monday, January 11, through Thursday, January 14, final exams for the first semester will be given at MHS.

Any form of a test causes students to automatically go into a panic and sends them into “study mode.” Students who review the notes and guides are proven to get a higher score on tests.

Exams are a major grade counting 15% of the semester average, and if a student fails the exam, he or she may not get credit for half the year.

Teachers are doing everything they can to ensure students have been taught enough to have the confidence that they will do well.

Students should take their teachers’ advice and use the knowledge they have been given to succeed on these tests.

Students all have different schedules and should expect to have at least one exam a day.
