Bi-District Champs! The Lady Cards defeat Athens on March 25 to advance to round 2 in the 4A state girls soccer playoffs.

Cardinal Update

  • Congratulations to senior Dylan Herrin who was awarded a prestigious $180,000 Marine ROTC scholarship! Click here for photos.
  • Congratulations to varsity girls soccer! They defeated Dallas Roosevelt for the area championship on March 29 and will now face a familiar foe, Anna, for the regional quarterfinal round on Fri., April 2 @ 7:15 p.m. in Anna. Tickets will be sold at the gate, CASH ONLY, for $3 and $5.
  • Congratulations to the Academic UIL Team for dominating 4A District 9 last week and earning the District Championship title. Many including the One Act Play will now advance to regionals April 15-17 at Lindale High School. Click here to read the individual results.
  • Baseball Opening Day Celebration – April 1: Students & faculty – join in the fun and wear your favorite team jersey/T-shirt on Thursday! The student union will be serving hot dogs and nachos for purchase.
  • Seniors: Caps and gowns were delivered March 30 from 11 a.m. – 1 p.m. near the Student Union. If you were unable to pick yours up, stop by the front office.
  • Prom will be held this year with a Great Gatsby theme. Tickets will go on sale March 30. Click here for more info.
  • Friday, April 2 is a school holiday for students and faculty.
  • Seniors: We want to celebrate your future plans! Email your counselor a photo of you and your acceptance letter in order to be featured on the #Accepted Wall.
The Melissa Championship Center is complete. It features RootZone 3D3 Trionic Blend AstroTurf installed by Symmetry Sports Construction.
