SAT School Day opportunity for seniors

The Texas Education Agency (TEA) is partnering with the CollegeBoard to offer a FREE SAT assessments to seniors during the school day. MHS will offer this opportunity to a limited number of students.

If seniors are interested in taking the SAT for FREE on Thursday, Oct. 28, 2021, they should fill out the Google Form to register by Oct. 15 at 4:00 p.m. Students DO NOT need to register through CollegeBoard directly – completion of this form will serve as their official registration to test. Students need to use their Melissa ISD student email account to complete the Google Form. Seating is limited. And yes, this is the “real” SAT, just like is administered on a Saturday.

The School Day SAT will begin at approximately 8:25 a.m. at MHS and will take a little over three hours. Please note that students will be responsible for communicating directly with their teachers and/or dual credit professors to collect any work or instruction that they will miss while taking the SAT on Oct. 28. Students also must be in good standing with their attendance and grades. Any special student accommodations must be already approved through the CollegeBoard directly.

For questions, students should contact Ms. Stover or their alpha counselor.
