October 29, 2021
Singer-songwriter Benson Boone, who debuted his career on “American Idol: Season 17,” just released his first single on Oct. 15, 2021. Boone made it to the Top 24 on the TV show “American Idol” but dropped out due to personal reasons. Though he didn’t compete to his full abilities on the show, he still gained a huge following from his appearance through his audition.
During his time on “American Idol,” Boone received comments from the judges such as “I see you winning ‘American Idol’ if you want it,” and “They’re going to swoon over Benson Boone.”
Benson Boone recently signed a major record deal with Warner Records and Dan Reynolds (@DanReynolds) and a publishing deal with Warner Chappell Music and Saint Sounds Publishing.
Since the launch of his first official song, “Ghost Town” is currently at #114 on Spotify’s Top 200 Charts, with 256,208 streams to date. His song also made it onto Spotify Playlist, Pop Rising alongside artists such as Adele, Coldplay, and Justin Bieber, with the playlist having over two million followers. His new pop song is currently sitting at #102 on the Global Spotify Charts with 979,109 streams.
Despite leaving “American Idol,” Boone has defied the odds and achieved great success in the music industry just in a short amount of time. This is just the beginning of his journey, and fans worldwide can’t wait to hear what he has in store for future music releases.
