We’re Tired of Cafeteria Food

Eating crispitos five days a week can get very old. It’s also old when you have waited too long to get into line and all the food selections are either gone or limited to a minimum.

These problems could be solved if Melissa High School would provide students with off campus lunch.

There have been a lot of changes in MHS, such as mega lunch. Mega lunch is a new system which makes lunch an hour. This helps students to engage in the schools programs and go to tutoring more. Now that mega lunch now in effect, it will be easier for students to go get food and come back before lunch is over. The students of Melissa High School get tired of eating the same thing every day.

Naudia Monroe quoted “I believe we need off campus lunch because there always comes a time when you are craving a juicy cheeseburger with all the vegetables rather than two stale pieces of bread and dry meat stuck together to the bun.” This an example of how a student with a car feels about having off campus lunch.

Another reason while off campus lunch is reasonable, is when you wait a certain amount of time, there are not a lot of options to choose from because all the food is gone.  There are a lot of ways for this idea to become effective. There could be a sign in sheet so you can record children when they are leaving and coming back.

There are always monitors watching the students during lunch. So we could have them sitting out in front of the building, watching the students as they enter and leave the school. They are a lot of ways to make this plan effective and make this school have more opportunities and off campus is one.
