Cardinal Update

  • Congratulations to Varsity Football on their regional victory over La Vega on Friday, Nov. 26. They will now advance to the regional quarterfinal round and take on Stephenville this Friday, Dec. 3, at 7:30 p.m. at Pennington Field in Bedford. Melissa will be the visiting team.   • Congratulations to ASL teacher Christina Pinckney and junior Grace Rogers on receiving Cardinal Commendations at the board meeting Nov. 15.
  • Congratulations to sophomore Candace Paul for being named to the All-State Jazz Band on Piano. She will perform at the Texas Music Educators’ Association (TMEA) Convention in San Antonio in February.

  • Tickets are now on sale for the Winter Candyland Dance scheduled for Dec. 4 from 8:30-11 p.m. in the Student Union. The tickets are $25, cash or check only, and may be purchased during Mega Lunch in Mrs. Tyner’s classroom, A124 or the Student Union. No outside of the district guests are allowed to attend the dance.
  • There will be a pep rally this Friday, Dec. 3, at 10:35 a.m. in the gym. We will follow the pep rally schedule on Friday.

  • Lost & Found: The main office has a lost and found area. If students are missing an item, they should stop by the front office to see if the item was turned in.
