The Salvation Army has a unique way for you to give back. This program is called the Angel Tree. Angel Tree is a way to make the holidays memorable for more than 50,000 children and special needs adults in DFW. To get involved, all you have to do is stop by one of the 11 malls listed below and pick an angel tag off the tree. Each tag lists a child’s first name, age, gender, clothing sizes, wish item and need item. Special code numbers on the tag ensure the gifts go to the families who asked for them. You can pick an angel up until Dec. 7, but all donations are due by Dec. 8. Then the gifts will be taken to a place where the families that qualified to get these gifts will pick them up and give them to their family members.
