After quarterback Tom Brady’s 22nd season playing in the National Football League (NFL), he announced his retirement earlier this year. He played two seasons with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and the other 20 for the New England Patriots with one Super Bowl win with Tampa Bay and the other six with New England.

During this past season, he threw for 84,520 yards, being the number one in all NFL history with Drew Brees being second. He has the most touchdowns as well with 624 and Drew Brees in second place again.

“I’m super content and happy with how I feel in my decision,” Brady said on his “Let’s Go!” podcast.

After saying this, Brady said he hopes that tight end Rob Gronkouski will not retire, but “Gronk” still hasn’t decided. Brady and Gronk have an amazing career together with scoring 90 touchdowns in 12 seasons. The pair won three Super Bowls together on the Patriots team and one on the Bucs.

Many people believe that Brady was forced into retirement by his wife Gisele Bundchen, but he said even though he has retired, he will take his life “day by day” hinting that he might come back with a different team. He has countered that by also saying he wants to spend time with his family and pursue other things outside of football.
