Cardinals of the Week: March 28 – April 1

Melissa High School is continuing to honor students and faculty members that display the core values on a consistent basis. Each week one student and one staff member will be spotlighted and awarded a certificate and some treats. The staff member will also be presented with a “traveling trophy.”
The Student Cardinal of the Week is senior Nikki Cross.
Nikki was nominated by Mrs. Nowlin who had this to say: “Nikki Cross is my choice for student of the week. Nikki is a senior and one of my library aides. Nikki works hard in all of her classes and is always willing to help out. On Fridays when her dual credit classes aren’t meeting, she comes to the library and works without even being asked to.”
The Teacher Cardinal of the Week is CTE fashion design teacher Amy Tyner.
Tyner was nominated by Mrs. Nowlin who had this to say: “Amy Tyner is my choice for teacher of the week. Whether it’s teaching Fashion Design or working with the Student Council, Amy always goes above and beyond. Both of these individuals definitely exemplify Cardinal Spirit in all that they do!”
