Cardinal Update

  • STAAR End-of-Course (EOC) Exams will be administered this week. The Algebra I exam is scheduled for Tuesday, May 3, and the Biology and US History exams will be given Wednesday, May 4.
  • There will be a Junior Parent Meeting on Thursday, May 5, at 7 p.m. in the auditorium of the Melissa Arts Center for juniors and parents to meet our new school photography company and learn about the senior portrait process. Click here for more information.
  • SENIORS: Please check your email DAILY, and visit the Class of 2022 webpage frequently to stay informed on end-of-year Senior Activities. If you plan to decorate your graduation cap, click here for the approval form.
  • FREE COLLEGE HOURS: Collin College is providing tuition and fee credits for up to six hours this summer for all graduating seniors in their service area! Whether you are attending Collin in the fall, headed to a university, or unsure what your next step may be, this is an incredible opportunity to help springboard you into your future goals.   • The next Driver’s Ed course begins May 18. If interested, stop by the front office to sign up and pick up enrollment information.
  • School Day Hours: Melissa ISD has determined the projected school day start and end times, early drop-off times, and early release times for the 2022-2023 school year. Click here to view this information.

The One Act Play cast, crew and directors pose for a photo on stage with their trophy at the regional contest. The troupe advanced to the 4A state contest and will compete in Round Rock on May 5.
