Netflix horror drama series “Stranger Things” has announced the release date for its long-awaited fourth season.

After three years from the release of the phenomenon’s third season, creators Matt and Ross Duffer have given word of a fourth season coming to Netflix, with Part 1 coming May 17 and Part 2 July 1. The suspenseful trailer reveals new challenges, brings back characters viewers haven’t seen for many seasons, and new adventures the young gang must face throughout the story. But not only was the trailer recently released but so was the list of episodes and names, stirring up questions and theories among fans everywhere.

In part of a long announcement letter, creators, the Duffer brothers, wrote: “With nine scripts, over 800 pages, almost two years of filming, thousands of visual effects shots, and a runtime nearly twice the length of any previous season, Stranger Things 4 was the most challenging season yet but also the most rewarding one. Everyone involved is incredibly proud of the results, and we can’t wait to share them with you.”

Be sure to binge “Stranger Things 4” on May 27 and July 1 this summer!
