MHS hosts first film fest featuring student productions

MHS+hosts+first+film+fest+featuring+student+productions

The first ever Melissa High School Film Fest was held May 21 at 7 p.m. in the Performance Hall of the Melissa Arts Center.

Approximately 60 students in grades 9-12 in the audio/video (AV) production and animation classes were involved in making the short films that were featured.

Following the screening of the films, audience members got to vote for their favorite in each category. The results of the votes were the following:

BEST ANIMATION

“Bob the Skeleton” (by Aidan Mitchell-Johnson)

BEST LIVE ACTION (and BEST OF FEST)

“A Job Well Done” (Jayden Barrett & the 3rd Period AV Production II class)
