Oct. 29, from 10 a.m. until noon, Fellowship of Christian Athletes (FCA) hosted Trunk or Treat for the Melissa community in the band parking lot.

FCA serves local communities by equipping, empowering and encouraging student-athletes, coaches and adult leaders to impact and influence their campus for Christ. It’s also the largest interdenominational, school-based, Christian sports organization in America.

“It was fun and felt good helping kids out, ” sophomore and varsity soccer player Gavin Stopinski said.

There were about 16 trunks and a lot of kids attended. The sports that participated were golf, boys soccer, girls soccer, and tennis. FCA did this to let kids have a fun time playing games and to give them a chance to get more candy for Halloween.

“It was amazing to help younger kids and to represent Melissa High School,” junior and varsity soccer player Clayton Brown said.
