At the school board meeting held on Sept. 18, three high school students and two staff members were awarded Cardinal Commendations. These individuals were honored for modeling “The Cardinal Way” in their day-to-day service and actions on campus.

Recipients were senior Hudson Ross and juniors Joshua Ester and Rennice Kerebi. Staff members who were recognized were counselor Henslie Fournier and paraprofessional Jamain Williams. The awards were presented by Principal Marcus Eckert, Associate Principal Emily Chapman and School Board Member Amy Feagin.

Ester, who gave a motivational speech to the high school faculty during in-service in August, also shared his views on what it means to be a Cardinal at the board meeting. Click here to listen on X (Twitter).
