Head Football Coach Matt Nally was presented with a $2,000 grant for the Cardinal football program on Nov. 17 for being named a “Dallas Cowboys Whataburger Coach of the Week” for the 2023 season. The monetary award was courtesy of Whataburger and the Gene and Jerry Jones Family Foundation.
Each year the “Dallas Cowboys Whataburger Coach of the Week” award honors football coaches in North Texas for their outstanding leadership and character. Coach Nally was selected because of the Melissa Cardinals’ continued success both on and off the field.
