The Speech and Debate team received the 2023 Leading Chapter Award from the National Speech and Debate Association on Jan. 10.
The Leading Chapter Award is given to one chapter in each competition district that demonstrates outstanding dedication to speech and debate education. Only 3% of the schools in the nation receive this honor. The schools earning this title understand the importance of speech and debate education and the opportunities it provides for participating students.
