Melissa High School Ruby Belles Drill Team Tryouts for the 2026-2027 school year are scheduled for March 23-27, 2026! Tryouts are open to students entering grades 9-12th grades who are interested in trying out for the MHS Ruby Belles. Students who would like to try out are highly encouraged to attend one of the Prep Clinic and Tryout Meetings with their parent or guardian. Melissa ISD recognizes March 1 as Texas Girls in STEM Day, celebrating and encouraging girls to explore careers in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics. As set forth by the Texas Government Code 662.073, this day highlights the achievements of women in STEM and inspires the next generation to pursue opportunities in these fields. Schools and communities are encouraged to participate in activities that promote innovation, learning, and the impact of women in STEM.

Join us for Meet the Cardinals Night on Friday, March 13, from 5:00 to 6:00 p.m. at the Melissa Z-Plex as we celebrate the Melissa High School Baseball and Softball teams.
