Congratulations to the Melissa community!

As October moves to November, Pink Out coordinator and assistant volleyball coach Kathy Barton wants to thank Team Melissa for the $3,000 raised for the American Cancer Society during Breast Cancer Awareness Month.

The pink out T-shirt sales raised $1,600 and the volleyball bake sale raised another $1,400. Fans packed the stands at the Oct. 18 series against Celina, and following the matches, volleyball players honored faculty members and family that have fought and won the battle against cancer–and paid tribute to some that didn’t win the war.

Thanks again to the amazing Melissa community for supporting the fight against cancer!
