Congratulations to the Lady Cardinals Varsity Basketball Team! For the second year in a row, they made it to the Regional Finals.

At the 4A Region II Tournament, they narrowly won their first game over Brownsboro by three points on Fri., Feb. 28. Then they faced off against Lincoln on Sat., Feb. 29 and lost by just ten points after putting forth a good game.

Senior Ashley Gideon received post-season recognition by being named to the Texas Girls Coaches Association All-State Team. Junior Wendy Clemmons was named as an All-Region 2 selection, and the Lady Cardinals finished in seventh place overall in the Texas High School Girls Basketball Association’s rankings.
