Cardinal Update

  • Thanksgiving Break – Nov. 23-27 – school closed.
  • Congratulations to Varsity Football! They are 4A Division 1 Area Champs and will now play for the regional quarterfinal title against Paris on Friday, Nov. 27, @ 7:30 p.m. at Texas A&M-Commerce.
  • Congratulations to the Melissa Band! They earned straight ones at the UIL 4A Region 25 marching contest Nov. 18 and will now move on to area on Dec. 8 at Princeton. Click here for the regional results.
  • Congratulations to Robotics for qualifying for state!
  • Good luck to the boys cross country team and soph. Abigail Bass as they compete at the UIL 4A State Cross Country Meet on Nov. 24!
  • Spring Dual Credit registration is still open. Current dual credit students need to check their MHS email for registration information. The deadline to register is Dec. 2, 2020 @ 5:00 p.m. Please see your counselor if you have any questions.
  • ATTN: SENIORS & SENIOR PARENTS – The sale of 2021 Yearbook SENIOR ADS ends Nov. 30. Reserve a spot now. The photos and message will be due by Jan. 31.
