Cardinal Update

  • All Students: Please help the yearbook staff by replying to a few short surveys. Click here to access the Google Form (which Ms. Nelson also emailed to you).
  • The first semester ends Fri., Jan. 15. Students will be taking final exams this week: Monday & Tuesday – CTE, English & Math classes; Wednesday & Thursday – History, Fine Arts, Science & World Language classes. Students will take the exams during their normal class periods.
  • The National Honors Society (NHS) will meet virtually this Friday, Jan. 15, at 11:00 a.m. This is a VERY important meeting. NHS members, check Google Classroom for the Zoom link.
  • MARIACHI CARDENALES: If you are interested in a culturally-rich experience and can read music and play a stringed instrument or trumpet, then Mariachi Cardenales is for YOU! An informational meeting will be held this Friday, Jan. 15, at 11:30 a.m. in room #215. If you cannot attend the meeting, stop by room #215 or see Ms. Hernandez this week for more info.
  • Seniors, you can STILL order your cap/gown, announcements and other graduation items from Balfour by clicking this link. The deadline to order has been extended until Jan. 15, 2021.
  • ATTN: Senior parents/family members who purchased Senior Yearbook Ads – The deadline to submit your images and message is January 31. You should login to Balfour.com and click on My Orders. You should then be able to upload your images and type your message. The yearbook staff will build the actual ad. If you have any questions or issues, contact adviser Rachel Nelson: [email protected].
  • Good luck to the cheer competition team who will compete at the 2021 UIL Spirit State Championships on Thurs-Fri., Jan. 14-15.
  • Congratulations to junior Malori Pletcher for advancing to the area round of choir competition on Sat., Jan. 16. Click here to read more.
