Cardinal Update

  • Monday, Jan. 18, is a school holiday for staff and students. Tuesday, Jan. 19, is a Teacher Work Day. The third nine weeks and spring semester begins on Wednesday, Jan. 20.
  • ATTN: ALL STUDENTS – MANY of you are still getting counted absent on Fridays! Remember that Fridays are STILL an academic school day. If you are working from your phones on Fridays, you MUST login to Schoology. If you open the app and are NOT prompted to login, then LOGOUT and then LOG BACK IN. Get into the habit of logging OUT each day. The school MUST have a timestamp of you logging in and out EACH Friday and anytime you are a virtual or remote student. Thank you!
  • All Students: Please help the yearbook staff by replying to a few short surveys. Click here to access the Google Form (which Ms. Nelson also emailed to you).
  • ATTN: Senior parents/family members who purchased Senior Yearbook Ads – The deadline to submit your images and message is January 31. You should login to Balfour.com and click on My Orders. You should then be able to upload your images and type your message. The yearbook staff will build the actual ad.   • Melissa ISD began offering voluntary rapid COVID-19 tests onsite to employees in December; the testing program will open to students on January 20. Click here to learn more.
