Cardinal Update
- The English II STAAR EOC exam will be administered on Thurs., April 8.
- Congratulations to varsity girls soccer for an awesome season! Unfortunately, they fell to Henderson in the regional semifinal round on Tues., April 6, but overall they were 22-2-2 for the season and ranked #3 in the state. Way to go, Lady Cards!
- Congratulations to the varsity girls and JV boys and varsity boys track teams for finishing in 2nd place at the district meet. Click here for the meet results. Good luck to all of those that will compete at area on Wed., April 7, in Celina.
- Congratulations to the high school choirs on their success at UIL last week. The Treble Chorus (women) earned a Sweepstakes by earning 1, 1, and 2 on stage and straight 1’s in sightreading. The Tenor-Bass Chorus (men) made history by being the largest men’s choir ever and the first to compete at UIL. They earned 1, 2, 2 on stage and straight 1’s in sightreading!
- Congratulations to senior Dylan Herrin who was awarded a prestigious $180,000 Marine ROTC scholarship! Click here for photos.
- Congratulations to the Academic UIL Team for dominating 4A District 9 last week and earning the District Championship title. Many including the One Act Play will now advance to regionals April 15-17 at Lindale High School. Click here to read the individual results.
- Prom will be held this year with a Great Gatsby theme. Tickets will still be on sale this week April 5-9 for $65. Click here for more info.
